We, members of the Iowa State University Council on Sustainability, are
committed to protect and enhance the environment through our teaching, research,
service, and administrative operations. We seek to foster a community that
sustains ecological systems and educates campus citizens about environmental
awareness, local action, and global thinking. We seek to promote
environmentally sound practices as a core value of the University.
